Tunisian delegation to visit Tripoli and Zliten in late September for reconstruction deals

The Tunisian Export Promotion Center (CEPEX) announced plans to hold professional and partnership meetings in both Tripoli and Zliten from September 21 to 25.

According to the Center’s statement, the meetings will focus on manufacturers of building materials, architects, construction contractors, as well as specialists in interior and exterior design.

The statement added that this initiative offers a unique opportunity for Tunisian companies to establish business relations and partnerships with Libyan economic actors working in construction, public works, and building materials sectors.

The Center invited interested Tunisian companies to confirm their participation by no later than September 5. The Tunisian delegation is expected to include more than 20 institutions active in contracting, public works, civil engineering offices, as well as manufacturers and traders of sanitary and electrical materials and building supplies, in addition to providers of engineering, maintenance, rehabilitation, and partnership services.

This comes as part of the Export Promotion Center’s promotional program aimed at expanding the network of Tunisian institutions and connecting them with Libyan project decision-makers and infrastructure supervisors, in cooperation with the chambers of commerce, industry, and agriculture in both Tripoli and Zliten.

The Center also noted that Tunisian exports to Libya have increased by 37% over the past four years, with the metals and natural resources sector topping the list of exports to Libya, recording an 88% growth.
