Tunisia will be in the spotlight at the 53rd edition of the “Antibes Art Fair”, an event dedicated to art, design and crafts, which runs from April 12 to 21 in Antibes, France.
This event is organized by the Antibes Tourist Office, in partnership with the Office National de l’Artisanat Tunisien and the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO), as part of the Creative Tunisia project, an initiative of the European Tounes Wijhetouna program, financed by the European Union in Tunisia and the Italian Agency for Development Cooperation (AICS).
On this occasion, Tunisia will be presenting an exclusive exhibition of 15 collections, reflecting an unprecedented collaboration between contemporary design and Tunisian craftsmanship, says Creative Tunisia, which is supporting Tunisia’s participation.
The Antibes Art Fair is considered one of Europe’s leading art fairs, thanks to the number of visitors and the quality of the works presented by the 90 French and international exhibitors selected for each edition. Each year, it welcomes over 20,000 art lovers and collectors.
A component of the European Tounes Wijhetouna program, Creative Tunisia is a project designed to strengthen the value chains of the craft and design industries in Tunisia, with the aim of supporting the competitiveness of the craft and design sector, to ensure that products move upmarket and gain access to national and international markets.
