The Millennium Challenge Corporation (MCC) granted Tunisia a US$ 750,000 management premium.
The contract was signed Tuesday by Minister of Development, Investment and International Cooperation Mohamed Fahdel Abdelkéfi in the presence of US Ambassador to Tunisia Daniel
Rubinstein, a delegation from this independent U.S. foreign aid agency and its Country Program Coordinator.
It also aims to help create opportunities for disadvantaged regions and sections of the population via social integration-based projects.
The MCC will help over a two-year period with the setting up of working teams in Tunisia and the identification of projects.
The second stage of action consists in the implementation and funding of selected projects.
