Tunisia: Digital technology to improve hospital management

The closing conference of the “DigiHealth Tour Tunisia” project, held on Tuesday in Tunis, was attended by Alexandre Arrobbio, World Bank representative in Tunisia.

This project is supported and financed by several international partners, including the World Bank, the French Development Agency, the European Union, the German Cooperation, UNICEF, WHO and the “Health” project, in partnership with the Embassy of the United States of America, as part of the drive to strengthen the digitization and governance of healthcare establishments.

The conference, organized by the Ministry of Health’s IT Center, was attended by over 500 healthcare professionals from establishments in the Tunis, Bizerte and Nabeul regional directorates, including regional directors, healthcare establishment managers, and medical and administrative executives.

Health Minister Mustapha Farjani has stressed the vital importance of full digitization in strengthening governance, promoting hospital management and guaranteeing efficient performance within healthcare establishments.

He stressed that digital transformation is not simply an option, but a dynamic and sustainable process, requiring continuous monitoring and development.
