The Euro has surged against the dollar since Emmanuel Macron’s victory in the French presidential election.
According to Reuters, the Euro rose to $1.1023 within the first 30 minutes of projections showing the 39-year-old’s victory.
It was the first time the Euro had risen above $1.10 since Donald Trump was elected U.S. president in November last year.
The EU currency closed at 1.099 against the dollar at the end of the trading day on Friday.
