Tunisia and Turkey agree to strengthen cooperation in several areas

On the occasion of a meeting between Minister of Foreign Affairs, Mohamed Ali Nafti, and his Turkish counterpart, Hakan Fidan, on the sidelines of the 51st session of the OIC Council of Ministers of Foreign Affairs on Saturday and Sunday in Istanbul

Tunisia and Turkey have agreed to strengthen their cooperation in a number of areas, Foreign Minister Mohamed Ali Nafti said on his X account on Sunday evening.

Nafti was speaking after a meeting with his Turkish counterpart, Hakan Fidan, on the sidelines of the 51st session of the OIC Council of Foreign Ministers, held in Istanbul on Saturday and Sunday.

“Productive meeting with the Turkish Minister of Foreign Affairs, Hakan Fidan”, wrote the head of Tunisian diplomacy.

“We reviewed our strong bilateral relations and agreed to strengthen our cooperation in the following areas: Trade and Investment, Tourism and Academia, Regional Security,” he added.

“Tunisia and Turkey remain committed partners in the Euro-Mediterranean area and beyond”, he added.
