MoU signed between Tunisia and India to support business acceleration

During the visit of Indian Minister of External Affairs S. Jaishankar to Tunis on 22-23,2020 January, a Memorandum of Understanding was signed on Wednesday, January 22 between the Government of India and the Government of Tunisia for the establishment of an “Indian-Tunisian Centre for ICT Innovation in Tunis”.

Ambassador of India Puneet R. Kundal, on behalf of the Government of India and. Mohamed Ali Nerjri, Managing Director of Smart Tunisian Technoparks, on behalf of Tunisia, signed the memorandum of understanding (MoU) in the presence of the Indian Minister of External Affairs and Tunisia’s Minister of Foreign Affairs of Tunisia.

The MoU describes the cooperation between the Indian Government of the Tunisian Government in their efforts to support business acceleration and stimulate interaction between the innovation and entrepreneurship ecosystems between the two countries, aiming at creating a sustainable link between universities, advanced technology training centres, start-ups and small and medium enterprises (SMEs), in addition to improving the viability of start-ups through systematic incubation and coaching.
