The Tunisian delegation hosted as part of the third group of guests under the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques’ Umrah and Visit Program for the year 1448 AH has returned to Tunisia after a spiritually enriching journey that included visits to Madinah and Makkah. During their stay, members of the delegation performed Umrah and visited a number of the Kingdom’s most prominent Islamic and historical landmarks.
In Madinah, the delegation visited the Prophet’s Mosque, where they conveyed greetings to the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) and his two Companions (may Allah be pleased with them), and performed prayers in Al-Rawdah Al-Sharifah. Their program also included visits to several Islamic and historical sites, including Mount Uhud, the Martyrs’ Cemetery, Quba Mosque, the King Fahd Complex for the Printing of the Holy Qur’an, and the International Exhibition and Museum of the Prophet’s Biography and Islamic Civilization. The comprehensive program combined spiritual experiences with cultural and educational activities.
Members of the delegation expressed their deep happiness and gratitude for the warm welcome and generous hospitality they received from the moment of their arrival in the Kingdom. They also praised the high level of organization and the integrated services provided throughout their stay, noting that these efforts enabled them to perform their rituals and visits with ease and peace of mind, while offering them a distinctive spiritual and cultural experience.
The guests extended their sincere thanks and appreciation to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, and His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, for the care and attention extended to the program’s guests. They prayed that Allah would reward them abundantly and place their efforts in serving Islam and Muslims in the balance of their good deeds.
They also expressed their appreciation to the Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Dawah and Guidance, represented by Minister Sheikh Dr. Abdullatif bin Abdulaziz Al Al-Sheikh, for its extensive efforts in overseeing the program and caring for its guests, as well as its commitment to providing the highest level of services from their arrival in the Kingdom until their departure. They emphasized that the attention, efficient organization, and comprehensive programs and services greatly enriched their spiritual journey and left a lasting positive impression and cherished memories that will remain with them following their return to Tunisia.
The third group of the program comprised 250 male and female pilgrims representing 23 African countries: Tunisia, Morocco, Egypt, Algeria, Senegal, Guinea-Conakry, Cameroon, Nigeria, Ghana, Niger, Ethiopia, Rwanda, Mauritania, Côte d’Ivoire, Burkina Faso, Chad, Tanzania, Djibouti, South Africa, Zambia, Namibia, Angola, and Mali.
