Tunisia Inflation Hits Lowest Level Since 2021

The annual inflation rate in Tunisia eased to 5.6% in April 2025, down from 5.9% in March, marking the lowest level since May 2021, the National Institute of Statistics (INS) revealed on Monday The slowdown was primarily driven by softer price increases in food and non-alcoholic beverages (7.3% vs. 7.8%), clothing and footwear (9.4% vs. 11.7%), and household contents, equipment, and maintenance (5.4% vs. 5.5%).
