Ftich Ratings upgraded on Monday Tunisia’s Long-Term Foreign-Currency Issuer Default Rating (IDR) from “CCC-” to to “CCC+”. Trade deficit eases to 77.7%

The trade deficit narrowed to (-11924.1 MD) at the end of August 2024, compared with (-12191.7 MD) during the first eight months of 2023. The coverage rate rose by 0.8 points compared with the same period in 2023 to stand at 77.7%, according to the foreign trade note at current prices for August 2024 published on Thursday by the National Statistics Institute (INS).
