Some 331.807 MD in 2017/2018 season for date exports

The revenue of date exports for 2017/2018 stands at 331.807 million dinars (MD) thus reaching record up 22%  compared to  last season (271.727MD). The dates exported jumped by 6% since early this season (October 1, 2017) reaching 54,519 thousand tonnes February 21, 2018, against 51,391 thousand tonnes, the Agriculture, Water Resources and Fisheries Ministry said. Corruption Perceptions Index 2017: Tunisia tops Maghreb countries

Tunisia was ranked 74th out of 180 countries with a score of 42 points, by the new Corruption Perceptions Index (CPI) for 2017. It only gained one point over the year the latest (41 points in 2016 and 42 in 2017), according to the new Transparency International report, which revealed, this year, that more than two thirds of countries score less than 50, with an average score of 43.
