Tunisia’s premier automotive training institution delivers intensive certification programs to leading industry suppliers
The Tunisian Automotive Association (TAA) has unveiled an ambitious training agenda for July 2026, with its specialized academy, the Tunisian Automotive Management Academy (TAMA), conducting four intensive sessions over 14 days. The comprehensive program targeted automotive suppliers operating across Tunisia’s growing manufacturing sector.
These specialized training initiatives covered three internationally recognized standards alongside a dedicated behavioral competencies program, engaging certified experts and drawing participation from industry leaders including Tesca Group, LEONI Tunisia, DRÄXLMAIER Group, WeWire Tunisia, OneTech group, Casco Automotive Group (an Amphenol subsidiary), and Lear Corporation.
Strategic Quality Management Training
Tesca Group employees underwent comprehensive training on the IATF 16949 standard, the globally recognized quality management framework specifically designed for the automotive industry. This certification-focused session aims to strengthen Tesca’s quality assurance protocols and align operations with international benchmarks.
Product Audit Excellence
A certification track dedicated to the VDA 6.5 standard—concentrating on product audit methodologies—was organized in partnership with LEONI Tunisia. This specialized program equips participants with advanced techniques for systematic product evaluation, ensuring compliance with German automotive industry requirements.
Leadership Development Initiative
DRÄXLMAIER Group teams participated in an immersive behavioral competencies and leadership development program, designed to enhance managerial capabilities and soft skills essential for effective team leadership in the fast-paced automotive sector.
Process Audit Consolidation
A fourth session centered on the VDA 6.3 standard for process auditing brought together participants from WeWire Tunisia, OneTech Group, Casco SEA, and Lear Corporation. This collaborative platform fostered knowledge exchange on process audit best practices, enabling suppliers to benchmark their methodologies against established industry standards.
