Tunisia to Host Global Textile Industry at INTERTEX TUNISIA 2025

The global textile and fashion industry is preparing to descend upon Tunisia for the 7th edition of the “INTERTEX TUNISIA” international trade fair. The event, a dedicated showcase for the textile, clothing, and fashion sectors, will take place at the Sousse International Fairgrounds from October 16-18, 2025.

A press conference held on Saturday, October 11, previewed the major international gathering. Key participants included Serhan Pul, Director General of the organizing firm BGroup; Abdelaziz Dahmani, CEO of the Sousse International Fair; and Tarak Haj Ali, Vice-President of the Tunisian Federation of Textiles and Clothing (FTTH).

During the conference, Serhan Pul of BGroup—a U.S. company specializing in global professional trade shows—stated that INTERTEX TUNISIA is poised to become an unmissable event for textile industry players.

“We aim to establish Tunisia as an essential platform for commercial and technological exchange in the textile sector,” declared Pul. “We will bring manufacturers, suppliers, brands, and international buyers together under one roof.”

Leveraging a team of over 150 experts worldwide and an international database exceeding one million professional contacts, BGroup expects the 2025 edition to feature over 200 exhibitors from 15 countries and nearly 600 companies representing the entire textile value chain.

Pul explained that expanding into North Africa through Tunisia was a strategic decision. “After studying various markets, Tunisia emerged as the most competitive and professional in the textile field,” he said. “We found solid partnerships, fluid communication, and remarkable institutional support here.”

He highlighted Tunisia’s ideal geographic position at the crossroads of Europe, Africa, and the Arab world, alongside its diverse textile industry, modern infrastructure, and recognized expertise in garment production as key factors making it an attractive hub.

“Tunisia meets all the conditions to become a regional hub for textiles and fashion. We feel almost at home here,” Pul added.

Positioned as more than just a trade show, INTERTEX TUNISIA 2025 is designed to be a convergence point for innovation, craftsmanship, and business opportunities, complete with targeted B2B meetings, thematic conferences, and technology workshops.

By gathering the world’s leading textile industry actors, the event aims to cement Tunisia’s status as a regional reference for textile production, sustainable innovation, and economic partnership.
