Tunisia Participates in the World Economic Forum in Davos

As instructed by President Kais Saied, Minister of Foreign Affairs, Migration and Tunisians Abroad Mohamed Ali Nafti, together with Minister of the Economy and Planning Samir Ben Abdelhafidh, attend the 55th Annual Meeting of the World Economic Forum, which will be held in Davos, Switzerland, from 20 to 24 January 2025, under the theme “Cooperation in the intelligent era”, the Foreign Affairs Ministry reports on Monday.

In this context, Mr. Mohamed Ali Nafti will participate in the high-level discussions scheduled on the agenda of the Davos Forum, which will be an opportunity to further highlight Tunisia’s economic priorities for the coming period and to highlight national efforts, particularly in the areas of sustainable development, combating climate change and strengthening the use of digital technologies.

It will also be an opportunity to develop and diversify cooperation between Tunisia and its main international partners, particularly in promising and high value-added sectors.

This participation will also be an opportunity to highlight the President of the Republic’s vision of building a global system based on the values of solidarity, justice and equity, and of strengthening multilateral cooperation in order to face today’s challenges in a more collective and effective manner.

On the sidelines of his participation in this Forum, Mr. Mohamed Ali Nafti will also hold bilateral meetings with his counterparts from brotherly and friendly countries, as well as with the heads of delegations of a number of international organisations participating in the Forum.
