Tunisia’s entrepreneurial ecosystem converged last week for the 18th annual Global Entrepreneurship Week (GEW), held from November 17 to 22, 2025. The event, hosted by the Institut Arabe des Chefs d’Entreprises (IACE) in partnership with the Friedrich Naumann Foundation for Freedom (FNF Tunisia), served as a dynamic platform for aspiring entrepreneurs to gain critical skills and network with industry leaders.
With a focus on empowering youth and driving innovation, the week’s agenda was packed with practical workshops and expert panels. The FNF played a pivotal role in shaping the program, underscoring its commitment to building a resilient and modern entrepreneurial landscape in Tunisia.
The sessions tackled the most pressing topics for new ventures, including:
- Design Thinking & Project Design with Samir Ben Zineb.
- Financial Literacy, covering CAPEX, OPEX, and funding avenues.
- Digital Marketing strategies for customer acquisition and retention.
- Green Entrepreneurship and accessing sustainability-focused financing.
- ESG Reporting fundamentals for responsible business practices.
A key discussion point was a dedicated roundtable, “Generation AI: The DNA of the New Tunisian Entrepreneur,” which explored how artificial intelligence is fundamentally reshaping business models and the skills required for success.
By blending hands-on training with strategic insights, the event equipped young Tunisians with the tools to launch and scale their ventures. The collaboration between IACE and FNF reaffirmed the critical role of investing in youth and innovation as primary drivers for Tunisia’s future economic growth.
