Tunis will host the 15th edition of the Salon International de l’Agriculture Biologique et de l’Agroalimentaire, (Bio-Expo) from April 17 to 19, 2025.
Organized by International Fairs and Exhibitions Tunisia (IFE-Tunisia) in partnership with the Direction Générale de l’Agriculture Biologique, the event will be held on the premises of the Union Tunisienne de l’Industrie, du Commerce et de l’Artisanat (UTICA), and will bring together over 100 exhibitors.
The show aims to serve as a crossroads for the various players in the sector: producers, processors, distribution professionals and consumers alike.
It is also a platform for meetings between farmers, experts and operators from all over the country, with the aim of encouraging national and international exchanges and partnerships, while consolidating existing networks.
The aim is to promote organic farming in Tunisia and prepare the ground for market changes, particularly in Euro-Mediterranean zones. The show aims to encourage direct dialogue between the various links in the chain – from field to plate – and to involve both public and private decision-makers in this dynamic.
The program includes themed conferences, led by recognized experts in the sector, which will punctuate the three days of the show. At the same time, educational workshops are planned for schoolchildren, to raise awareness of the health benefits of organic food.
