“Student Entrepreneur” programme launched by Ministry of Higher Education

The Student Entrepreneur programme in universities and higher education institutions was launched by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research to support entrepreneurship and create projects in a student environment, starting from the academic year 2019-2020, The Ministry said in a statement.

The programme is launched within the framework of the contribution of Career and Competency Certification Centres (4C) to the professional integration of higher education graduates in innovative and competitive sectors and supporting them to create their own businesses, the ministry reported.

The programme will enable the national higher education system to comply with international training standards and adapt higher education students to the demands of the professional environment.

The Student Entrepreneur programme aimed to support personal projects and strengthen the role of 4Cs in 25 higher institutes of technological studies spread across different regions of the country.
