The first edition of the SITFY-Georgia Festival includes theatrical performances from several countries, including Georgia, Romania, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Oman, and Turkey, reflecting a rich cultural and theatrical exchange.
Georgia leads the participations with five performances: “Everything Was Real” produced by Tumanishvili Theater; in its first performance “Falsifying Myself”; “Paradjanov” (a puppet show for adults); a “Radio Play for the Audience” produced by Sukhumi Theater; and the fifth performance “Ex-Partners’ Bed” written by Irakli Samsonadze and directed by Kakhaber Shartava.
The festival also includes performances representing the Middle East, with shows from Qatar including “Al-Zari” by the Qatar Theater Troupe; from Oman “A Rainy Night” by the Afaq Theater Troupe; and from Saudi Arabia “Autumn Flower” by the Theater Chorus Troupe.

The festival is honorarily presided over by the Lady of Arab Theater, Samiha Ayoub, and is held under the patronage of the Minister of Culture, Dr Ahmed Fouad Heno, and Major General Khaled Mubarak, Governor of South Sinai, with support from the Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities and the Tourism Promotion Authority.
