the Tunisian Confederation of Citizen Enterprises (CONECT) took part in the round table organized by ANIMA at the Sheraton-Tunis Hotel, focusing on public-private dialogue in favor of clusters and their projects in Tunisia. This event brought together leading public and private players to reflect together on concrete solutions for boosting economic clusters and reinforcing their contribution to the national economy.
As the organization representing Tunisian businesses, CONECT plays a central role in this dialogue, defending the interests of the private sector and proposing concrete solutions to meet the challenges of clusters.
Aslan Berrjab, President of CONECT, said: “Clusters represent a real opportunity to revitalize the Tunisian economy. They create synergies between companies, research centers and public institutions. We need to work hand in hand to establish a legal and organizational framework that will foster their development and international competitiveness.”
The round table enabled CONECT to dialogue directly with representatives from the Ministries of Industry, Economy and Higher Education, as well as with other stakeholders such as technopoles, Creative Tunisia, and research centers.
Chekib Ben Mustafa, Member of the Executive Board of CONECT, stressed the need to adopt a pragmatic approach: “It is crucial to set up collaborative projects, particularly in research and development, to stimulate innovation and meet the specific needs of strategic sectors. CONECT is ready to support these initiatives by mobilizing the private sector and strengthening links with public decision-makers.”
The common objective of this forum is clear: to establish an ambitious roadmap for maximizing the impact of economic clusters on the national economy.
CONECT reiterates its commitment to supporting the development of clusters, encouraging collaborative initiatives, facilitating synergies and advocating necessary reforms within Tunisia’s economic ecosystems.
