Representatives of three Chinese companies, world leaders in the automotive components sector, made a prospecting visit to Tunisia, the Foreign Investment Promotion Agency (FIPA-Tunisia) announced on Friday.
The delegation was received at the headquarters of the American company CASCO Groupe Amphenol, located in the Bizerte Business Park, by the site manager, Islem Darmoul, in the presence of the park’s CEO, Badia Klibi, and the Managing Director of FIPA-Tunisia, Jalel Tebib.
This visit testifies to the growing interest in Tunisia’s strategic positioning as a high-potential industrial and logistics hub, serving the European, American and Asian markets in the automotive components sector and integration into global value chains.
Made up of representatives of internationally renowned industrial groups, the Chinese delegation expressed concrete interest in setting up production sites in Tunisia. They are keen to take advantage of the country’s geographical proximity to Europe, its preferential agreements with European and American markets, and its strategic access to African and Asian markets, particularly China.
On this occasion, FIPA-Tunisia reaffirmed its commitment to supporting foreign investors at every stage of their project, from study to realization, while promoting partnerships that generate shared growth and job creation.
