The 60th edition of the International Festival of Carthage reached a milestone Tuesday evening with its tenth night, dedicating a full program to one of Spain’s most iconic cultural treasures: flamenco. The performance reaffirmed the festival’s commitment to embracing all forms of artistic expression on its historic stage.
Held in partnership with the Embassy of the Kingdom of Spain in Tunisia, the evening drew distinguished diplomatic attendance, including Mr. Isidro González Afonso, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Spain, alongside numerous ambassadors and diplomatic representatives from various nations.

The Ballet Flamenco de Andalucía, under the artistic direction of acclaimed choreographer Patricia Guerrero, delivered “Tierra Bendita” (Blessed Land)—a production of remarkable artistic intensity that transported the Amphitheatre of Carthage audience into the enchanting world of Andalusia.
