On the sidelines of the international conference FITA2026 – Financing Investment and Trade in Africa, held in Tunis on April 28–29, 2026, an official signing ceremony brought together public institutions, investment bodies, development financiers, technology clusters, and pan-African organizations.
The strategic event underscored the core mission of the FITA gathering: moving beyond dialogue to generate tangible outcomes by fostering economic networking and catalyzing high-impact projects across the continent.
Several landmark agreements were sealed, covering key sectors including infrastructure, energy, water, sanitation, textiles, innovation, and entrepreneurship. Among the deals announced:
- Novation City Kinshasa (in partnership with TUCAD)
- KIA MONA Tex – a textile industrial complex (TUCAD)
- Technopark DR Congo (TUCAD)
- TABC – African Progressive Women (South Africa)
- TABC – Tunisia–Madagascar Chamber of Commerce
- TABC – China Cameroon Business Association
- TABC – Tunisian Textile and Apparel Federation
- TUCAD – Carrousel Finances
- TABC – Sfax Technopole
- TABC – Tunisian-Canadian Business Network (RTCA)
- TABC – Accelerate Africa
These accords reflect a strong South-South cooperation dynamic and a shared commitment to accelerating the development of integrated African value chains, in line with the conference’s theme.
Through these partnerships, the Tunisia Africa Business Council (TABC) and the TUCAD consortium reaffirmed their role as catalysts for transformative projects, bridging investors, public institutions, and private actors around concrete opportunities on the African continent.
FITA2026 is thus emerging as a reference platform – not only for debating Africa’s economic challenges but also for forging lasting strategic alliances in the service of the continent’s development.
