Pan-African Coalition Launches “RISE AFRICA 50” to Spotlight Continent’s Top Young Entrepreneurs

The Tunisia Africa Business Council (TABC) has unveiled a major new pan-African initiative. The “RISE AFRICA 50” ranking was announced by TABC President Anis Jaziri during the closing ceremony of an economic mission in Cotonou, organized in partnership with the REVIA network.

This ambitious annual program, developed with a coalition of pan-African organizations, is designed to identify, celebrate, and connect 50 of Africa’s most promising young visionary entrepreneurs each year. Partner institutions include the REVIA network, the Arab-African Center for Investment and Development in Algeria, the Tunisia–Côte d’Ivoire Chamber of Commerce, and several other bilateral business councils and forums.

Positioned as an annual barometer of innovation and transformational drive, RISE AFRICA 50 aims to shed light on the entrepreneurial talent shaping the continent’s future. Each year, the ranking will honor one exceptional young leader from each African country, showcasing diverse profiles and untold stories of resilience and potential.

More than just an award, the initiative is conceived as a strategic springboard. Laureates will gain pan-African and international visibility, privileged access to business and financing networks, mentorship, and strategic support through TABC and its partners’ programs.

The inaugural awards will be presented during the FITA2026 conference (Financing Investment and Trade in Africa) on April 28-29, 2026, with results published by media partner Entreprises Magazine.

The vision, according to organizers, is to spotlight young impact drivers, amplify their influence in regional economies, and forge a unified generation of change-makers across Africa. The ultimate objective is to build a pan-African community of young economic decision-makers capable of steering the continent’s development through innovation, sustainability, and inclusion.

In a related recognition of collaborative efforts, the REVIA network presented its “Prix de l’Excellence Africaine” to TABC President Anis Jaziri during the ceremony, acknowledging the council’s pivotal role in advancing South-South cooperation.
