National Forum Aims to Bridge Tunisia’s “Justice Gap” for Entrepreneurs

To tackle the legal insecurity that hinders entrepreneurs and small businesses, the national forum “Tech the Justice Gap: Justice for the Economy” will be held on November 18, 2025, at the Convention Centre in Tunis.

Organized by HiiL Tunisia, the event will convene public decision-makers, economic actors, and civil society to explore how citizen-centered justice can unlock economic potential and drive inclusive growth.

The forum will feature several key initiatives, including the official launch of the “Monde du Travail” (World of Work) platform developed with the Ministry of Social Affairs. It will also showcase AI-driven legal solutions from the Hack4Justice initiative and present results from the “Justice Needs Survey,” which assessed the legal requirements of micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs).

A “Startup Parade” will highlight rising Tunisian Legal Tech startups, such as E Tafakna, Contractzlab, and Juridoc.

According to the HiiL Innovation Hub MENA, discussions will focus on how the judicial system can better support both formal and informal MSMEs to ensure robust economic growth. The event will feature high-level speakers from the National Business Registry, CONECT Intech, the Tunisian Investment Promotion Agency (APII), and the Tunisian Bar Association.

“Tech the Justice Gap” aims to foster concrete collaborations between institutions, startups, and communities by presenting innovations that make justice faster, fairer, and more accessible. The ultimate ambition is to transform access to justice into a driver of economic resilience and shared prosperity in Tunisia.
