Prime Minister Youssef Chahed said at the opening of the Carthage Film Days at the culture city on Saturday that “the triumph of culture is a setback to terrorism, violence and extremism.”
“The message launched by this new edition of Carthage Film Days is that culture will triumph,” he said in a statement to the press.
“We wanted to show that Tunisia continues to live,” he added, emphasizing that “Tunisia combats terrorism through tight security measures and also through culture.”
