The 22nd edition of Women Economic Forum (WEF Tunisia) will be held on January 23-24 in Tunis and organized by the Ministry of Women, Family, Children and the Elderly and the Embassy of India to Tunisia, in collaboration with All Ladies League, the Ministry reports in a statement.
ALL Ladies League (ALL) is the world’s largest All-inclusive international women’s chamber and a global movement for the Welfare, Wealth, and Wellbeing of all by empowering women’s leadership. It counts 100 thousand members from 150 countries.
Nearly 200 female personalities active in the political, economic and cultural spheres will take part in the event which aimed to set up partnerships between women in various fields and to create investment opportunities.
Representatives of the European Union, the Council of Europe, UN agencies and Arab and regional organizations as the African Union and the Arab Women’s Organization will also attend the gathering, as well as representatives of government structures, civil society and the media.
An action plan that includes priorities for co-operation in the women’s economic empowerment field for the next period will be devised at the end of WEF Tunisia.
