Trump’s Tariffs: European Olive Oil Producers Brace for Market Disruption

New levies on imported olive oil from EU countries will lead to price increases and trade imbalances, experts predict. The Nobel Prize-winning trade economist Paul Krugman called the sweeping tariffs announced by President Donald J. The Tunisian Textile and Clothing Federation (FTTH) has announced on social media that it is accompanying a major European partner planning to set up a major industrial platform in Tunisia.
