Tunisia’s FIPA to Join Geneva ‘Focus Market’ in January 2027, Tebib Says

FIPA-Tunisia will take part in the next “Focus Market” event scheduled for Jan. 27, 2027, in Geneva, Switzerland, Director General Jalel Tebib said during a meeting in Tunis on Oct. 6, 2026, with Ahlem Bel Hadj Ammar, president of the Tunisian-Swiss Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

Tebib, who also serves as interim president of the Tunisia Investment Authority, reaffirmed FIPA’s readiness to support the initiative, citing Switzerland’s importance as a leading partner for Tunisia and the shared desire to build strong, lasting partnerships with Swiss economic actors, according to a FIPA statement released Wednesday.

Bel Hadj Ammar presented the Focus Market event, which will be organized jointly by Swiss Contact, the Geneva Chamber of Commerce and the Tunisian-Swiss Chamber of Commerce and Industry. She requested FIPA-Tunisia’s presence at the promotional event to highlight Tunisia’s competitive advantages as an investment destination to Swiss participants.

An event focused on the Tunisian diaspora in Switzerland will also be held on the same occasion, with particular attention to the environment and the use of 4.0 technology, FIPA said.

The agency described the meeting as part of efforts to strengthen promotional cooperation between the Tunisian-Swiss Chamber of Commerce and Industry and FIPA-Tunisia to boost Swiss foreign direct investment in Tunisia. It recalled that the two sides signed an agreement to that end last year.
