The Tunisian delegation has arrived in Makkah, alongside representatives from 22 other African countries, as part of the third group of guests participating in the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques’ Umrah and Visit Program for 1448 AH (2026). The program is implemented by the Saudi Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Call and Guidance, which has provided an integrated range of services and arrangements to ensure a comfortable and enriching experience for the guests.
Upon their arrival at their accommodation, the guests were welcomed by officials from the Ministry of Islamic Affairs before heading to the Grand Mosque to perform the Umrah rituals.
Following the completion of their rituals, the guests offered prayers of gratitude to Allah Almighty, asking Him to reward the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, for his generous support. They expressed their deep appreciation for the care and attention extended to them, as well as for the comprehensive facilities and services provided to enable them to perform Umrah and visit the Prophet’s Mosque in Madinah.
The guests also praised the Kingdom’s leadership for its continued efforts to serve pilgrims and visitors to the Two Holy Mosques, highlighting the ongoing projects and achievements dedicated to enhancing services for the Guests of Allah and serving Muslims around the world.
During their stay in Makkah, the program’s guests are scheduled to meet with an imam and preacher of the Grand Mosque. Their itinerary will also include visits to the King Abdulaziz Complex for Holy Kaaba Kiswah and the Revelation Exhibition.
The third group comprises 250 male and female pilgrims representing 23 African countries: Tunisia, Morocco, Egypt, Algeria, Senegal, Guinea-Conakry, Cameroon, Nigeria, Ghana, Niger, Ethiopia, Rwanda, Mauritania, Côte d’Ivoire, Burkina Faso, Chad, Tanzania, Djibouti, South Africa, Zambia, Namibia, Angola, and Mali.
