Tunisia Launches ATEX 2027, a New Pan-African Platform for Technology and Expertise

The Tunisia Africa Business Council (TABC) and the Tunisia Consortium for African Development (TUCAD) have officially announced the launch of the first edition of ATEX 2027—African Technology & Expertise Expo, set to take place on April 6–8, 2027, at the Palais des Congrès in Tunis.

This new pan-African initiative aims to become the continent’s premier exhibition dedicated to high-value-added services, expertise, technologies, and solutions that drive Africa’s economic development and transformation.

Against a backdrop of accelerating major infrastructure, energy, digital, industrial, health, water, telecommunications, financial, and public administration modernization projects across Africa, the continent faces a growing demand for qualified expertise, innovation, engineering, and technological solutions capable of supporting sustainable economic and social transformation.

ATEX 2027 is positioned as a strategic pan-African platform designed to connect service providers, technology firms, engineering companies, consultancies, experts, investors, donors, public institutions, and African and international economic operators around the continent’s major development projects.

The expo will also promote Tunisian and African know-how across several strategic sectors, including infrastructure, education, health, tourism, industry, agriculture, information and communication technologies, energy, financial services, engineering, and smart solutions for continental development.

The inaugural edition will be organized with the support of a range of national and international partners, public and private institutions, pan-African organizations, economic, technological and financial actors, as well as several entities committed to advancing economic and technological cooperation between Tunisia and the African continent.

Through this initiative, TABC and TUCAD reaffirm their commitment to strengthening cooperation, developing African value chains, and positioning Tunisia as a regional hub for services, expertise, and technology targeting Africa.

ATEX 2027 carries a clear ambition: to foster a new generation of South-South cooperation based on skills transfer, co-construction, co-production, and co-development—while nurturing the African champions who will tackle the continent’s greatest challenges and drive its lasting transformation.
