Tunisia Aims to Chart New Course for Tourism at Key Economic Forum

The Arab Institute of Business Leaders (IACE) will host the 9th edition of the Tunisia Economic Forum on Thursday, September 18, 2025, at La Maison de l’Entreprise.

Under the theme “Tourism in Tunisia: Towards New Horizons,” the forum will convene to analyze the challenges and opportunities within the nation’s vital tourism sector. The industry demonstrated strong recovery in 2024, generating 7.5 billion dinars in revenue according to Central Bank of Tunisia data—an 8.3% increase from the previous year.

The discussions will focus on identifying necessary reforms, particularly of a regulatory nature, required to support and sustain this growth. Key emerging market segments, including luxury tourism, health and retirement tourism, as well as rural and homestay tourism, will be central topics on the agenda.

The event is designed to serve as a critical dialogue platform between public policymakers and private sector stakeholders, with the ultimate goal of crafting a sustainable and forward-looking vision for Tunisian tourism.
