Under the patronage of Sheikha Dr. Afra bint Hishr Al Maktoum, the event merged two major platforms to celebrate women’s achievements and discuss their role in sustainability and national identity.
The third International Conference “Emirati Women Know No Impossible” and the second Global Forum “The Voice of Women” concluded in Dubai, culminating in the announcement of a fourth conference planned for 2026. The event was held under the patronage and in the presence of Her Highness Sheikha Dr. Afra bint Hishr Al Maktoum.
The conference, founded and chaired by Counselor Tahani Al Tare, brought together a diverse group of leaders, diplomats, and pioneers, including Sheikha Aisha bint Hamid Al Mualla and Guest of Honor Sheikha Aisha bint Saeed Al Sharqi.
In her opening address, Counselor Al Tare emphasized the significance of merging the two platforms to create a unified global stage for women’s empowerment. “The UAE has always been a pioneer in empowering women across generations and sectors,” she stated.
A highlight of the event was a keynote paper delivered by Sheikha Dr. Afra bint Hishr Al Maktoum titled “The Role of Emirati Mothers in Strengthening National Identity,” which underscored the vital influence of mothers in preserving national values.
The agenda featured several panel discussions tackling critical issues. One session, chaired by H.E. Engineer Alya Al Harmoudi, explored “Environment and Sustainability: A Woman’s Twin Path to Safety.” Another drew insights from the book My Story by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, focusing on life lessons for sustainable success.
The conference also served to inspire through personal stories. A session titled “The Voice of Women — Their Imprints” featured success stories from figures like Dr. Aisha Al Falasi and Businesswoman Mitha Al Kathiri, aiming to motivate other women.
In a symbolic gesture, the organizers launched a community initiative, “The Seven Rays of Love and Loyalty,” as a tribute to the UAE’s leadership.
The closing ceremony saw Sheikha Dr. Afra bint Hishr Al Maktoum honored with a commemorative shield, followed by the honoring of other distinguished guests and speakers. Counselor Tahani Al Tare concluded the event by officially announcing the preparations for the 4th edition of the conference in 2026, reinforcing a continued commitment to advancing women’s empowerment in line with the UAE’s visionary leadership.
