Declared investment in Tunisia’s industrial sector reached 754.6 million dinars, or about $245 million, by the end of April 2026, up 18% from the same period in 2025, according to the Agency for the Promotion of Industry and Innovation (APII).
The figures, published in APII’s Business Climate Bulletin, show that declared job creation rose 31.7% to 12,934 positions across 745 projects.
The agri-food industry led the sectoral breakdown with 312.9 million dinars in declared investment, ahead of mechanical and electrical industries and other diverse industries.
The data points to stronger momentum in Tunisia’s industrial investment pipeline, with the agri-food sector remaining the top driver of declared projects and job intentions. APII tracks declared investment and employment figures, which reflect project announcements rather than fully realized investment.
