Tunisia Launches National Investor Platform to Streamline Business Procedures and Boost FDI

The Tunisia Investment Authority (TIA) officially activated the National Investor Platform recently, introducing a comprehensive digital gateway designed to streamline administrative procedures and enhance communication between investors and government agencies. The initiative marks a significant step in the country’s ongoing strategy to modernize public services dedicated to economic development.

Now live via the official portal tunisiainvestment.tn, the centralized digital hub consolidates a wide array of informational resources and administrative services tailored for both domestic and international investors. The platform is specifically engineered to simplify the bureaucratic processes associated with project preparation and implementation while fostering more efficient dialogue with relevant public institutions.

The launch was formally announced during the Tunisia Investment Forum 2026, where government officials reiterated their commitment to bolstering the nation’s competitive edge as a premier investment destination. The event underscored Tunisia’s continued push toward the digitalization of economic services as a cornerstone of its fiscal policy.

While the platform serves as a robust tool for administrative simplification and contributes to the modernization of the business environment, officials clarified that it does not alter the existing regulatory framework governing foreign and local investment in the country.

According to official data presented by Tunisia’s investment promotion agencies, the North African nation recorded a substantial uptick in Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) throughout 2025. European investors continue to dominate the flow of capital into the Tunisian market, with the Czech Republic emerging among the top ten foreign investors in the country for the first time.

The newly deployed digital portal is expected to be particularly valuable for enterprises scouting opportunities within Tunisia’s industrial landscape, especially those looking to establish or expand production, assembly, or service operations. The platform holds strategic utility for sectors integrated into Euro-Mediterranean value chains, including the automotive, electrical engineering, and mechanical engineering industries, as well as export-oriented manufacturing activities.
