The 5th Aerospace Meeting Tunisia opened in Tunis with a record 85 exhibitors, cementing the country’s status as a rising hub for the aviation industry.
“Everyone is now watching what’s happening here,” said Fipa Tunisia chief Jalel Tebib, noting packed order books and a sector now comprising over 85 companies.
The event saw major announcements of expansions and new investments, including a Turkish firm—a global supplier to the German market—set to open a production unit soon.
With a robust skills base and a consolidating ecosystem, industry leaders are betting big on Tunisia’s strategic Mediterranean position to become a reference platform for Africa and beyond.
