Minister of Culture, Dr. Ahmed Fouad Hanno has just arrived in Sharm El-Sheikh, South Sinai Governorate, to inaugurate the ninth edition at Sharm El-Sheikh Cultural Palace.
The festival management, represented in director Mazen El-Gharabawy, received the Minister. During a previous meeting, Dr. Hanno confirmed the Ministry’s support of the festival, which is dedicated to youth, achieves their artistic ambitions, and fosters cultural communication between generations of experts, pioneers, and youth.
SITFY is scheduled to take place between (15-20) November. The ninth edition is held under the chairmanship of director Mazen El-Gharabawy and bears the name of late director Galal El-Sharkawy. Lady of Arab Theater, actress Samiha Ayoub, is SITFY’s honorary president. Dr. Engy El-Bestawy is SITFY’s managing director and producer Hesham Soliman is the chairman of SITFY’s higher committee. The festival is held under the auspices of the Minister of Culture, Dr. Ahmed Fouad Hanno, and South Sinai Governor, Major-General Khaled Mubarak. It is supported by the Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities and the Tourism Promotion Authority.
