The Fourth edition of Tunisian “Phare de l’Entrepreneuriat” will be held on Saturday, February 29 in the UTICA premises in Tunis at the initiative of JEY ‘Entrepreneurship.
The event will include a competition meant for young Tunisian job seekers and project leaders. A call for projects is launched on social media and then a selection is made according to several criteria.
JEY Entrepreneurship is a student association of Kedge Business School based in Marseille. The students of this association organize every year since 2016 an entrepreneurship contest, in partnership with a co-organizing (local) Junior Enterprise, called “Le Phare de l’Entrepreneuriat”.
For four months, the project leaders are accompanied, supported and supervised by (local) Juniors Entreprises to help them establish solid foundations: business plan, market study, financial analysis and so on…
At the end of this preparation period, the candidates present their projects in front of a jury and an audience of more than 250 people and the winner is awarded an incubation and a financial prize to make his dreams come true!
In addition to the pitching of the project leaders, the day will be marked by lectures, success stories and debates around a theme, this year, “Student and Entrepreneur”, and the issues facing Tunisia today, but it is also an opportunity to meet several professionals and influential people.
For this fourth edition, the organizing teams, JEY Entrepreneurship and the Junior Sup’Com Enterprise promise renewal. In addition to the winner, a candidate will be awarded a prize according to the votes of the public.
