Seven innovative startups will present their projects and services, on Wednesday, at the Acropolium of Carthage, during the 3rd edition of “Demo Day” of the boot programme, “Flat6labs Tunis”, TAP reports.
The event is an opportunity to celebrate the innovation, inspiration, achievements and hard work of entrepreneurs from several Tunisian cities, such as Beja, El Kef, Sousse and Monastir.
The projects involve several sectors of activity, including AgriTech, gaming, e-commerce, Digital Media, software development, recruitment and robotics.
This event provides the opportunity to present the work done by entrepreneurs to an audience of potential partners and investors, in order to allow them to access not only Tunisian but also foreign markets.
Launched in 2016, Flat6Labs Tunis is a startup programme aimed at promoting the growth of Tunisian start-ups and providing a source of supply to the Venture Capital industry in Tunisia, the same source underlines.
Since its launch, Flat6Labs has supported 20 innovative startups in order to support Tunisian entrepreneurial initiatives and provide them with expertise and support with international standards, thanks to its extensive network and numerous partnerships.
The programme also offers several investment tickets for up to 600 thousand dinars. It hosts start-ups working in various sectors oriented towards innovation and the knowledge economy, including education, energy, transport, finance, green technology information and communication technologies (ICT), electronics and industrial solutions.
Every six months, Flat6Labs Tunis launches a new acceleration cycle and welcomes project leaders from all over Tunisia to offer them a seed fund, a workspace in the capital, a personalised support programme focused on the growth of the local market but also abroad in order to internationalise Tunisian know-how, but also mentoring and individual coaching.
