The Naif Arab University for Security Sciences in Riyadh will host the 23rd Interpol International Symposium on Police Training from September 26 to 28, 2022.
The INTERPOL’s biennial symposium is held with the participation of experts from all member states of the International Criminal Police Organization (INTERPOL) to discuss current and future challenges facing police personnel and to learn about best practices in law enforcement training.
The current course is entitled “Law Enforcement Training in the Post-Pandemic World” and is attended by 450 experts and specialists in security and law from around the world. It is held for the first time in the headquarters state “Saudi Arabia”.
The symposium aims to highlight several topics, including current and future training techniques; assessing how law enforcement is responding to the global COVID-19 pandemic and adapting to other crises; advanced techniques to support hybrid training and learning, such as virtual reality and artificial intelligence; and how to build a strong and sustainable training base.
The symposium offers participants the opportunity to exchange ideas on how to build capacity and better develop international cooperation in these areas within the existing security architecture.
