The 1st phase of the “Digital Tunisia” initiative, dedicated to agritech, has been officially launched.
As part of this first phase, 5 innovative Tunisian companies will be selected and given specific support to establish themselves in the Senegalese market. A tailor-made package will be offered, including training, strategic advice and technical assistance for internationalization. Following this, a prospecting mission is scheduled for May 2025, during which these companies can establish contacts with local partners.
The program’s second phase will focus on the healthtech and edtech sectors. Six Tunisian companies operating in these fields will be selected to prepare for a foray into the Mauritanian market. A prospecting mission and B2B meetings will be organized in October 2025, offering participants the opportunity to explore export and cooperation opportunities.
Led by STECIA International in partnership with the Qawafel project – implemented by Expertise France and financed by Agence Française de Développement (AFD) – this program aims to open up new horizons for Tunisian companies specializing in agritech, healthtech and edtech, by facilitating their access to markets in Senegal and Mauritania. As part of a dynamic of regional cooperation, “Digital Tunisia” aims to stimulate commercial exchanges and strengthen collaborations between the entrepreneurial ecosystems of the three countries. It also aims to foster technological innovation while consolidating the integration of Tunisian companies in West Africa.
