Tunisia Validates “Made in Tunisia” Brand Identity to Boost Local Products and Export Competitiveness

Tunisia has taken a new step in promoting its national products with the official validation of the visual identity, or graphic charter, of the “Made in Tunisia” brand. The steering committee approved the label’s visual identity at a meeting on Tuesday, 20 October 2026, at the headquarters of the Ministry of Industry, Mines and Energy.

The meeting was chaired by Salah Zouari, in charge of managing the ministry. The “Made in Tunisia” label is designed to better identify Tunisian products and highlight their origin and quality. The initiative aims to strengthen consumer confidence in local production, encourage the purchase of Tunisian products and support the competitiveness of national companies.

The project also seeks to promote Tunisian know-how internationally and facilitate companies’ access to foreign markets.

In a first phase, a support programme will target four priority sectors: mechanical and electrical industries, textile and clothing, leather and footwear, and agri-food. The scheme is expected to be gradually extended to the entire industrial sector.
