Hult Prize ESSEC Tunis Final Round: ECO-TRIP wins title

ECO-TRIP is the winner of Hult Prize Essect title after the 6 pre-selected teams made their pitching in front of 10 judges, in an atmosphere marked by energy and positive vibes extended by the presence of the young ESSECT student participants, during the Hult Prize ESSEC Tunis final round that took place on Saturday, December 14, 2019, in the premises of the Tunisian Confederation of Industry, Trade and Handicrafts (UTICA).

The Judges who are Tunisian renowned prominent figures in the world of business and management were present for ruling out the final winner team that deserve the trip to London.

The judges are namely Moez El Ghali President of the CJD Tunisia, Bilel Dernaoui Head of Consumer and Small Business in ATB, Samia Zaouali consultant and expert in economic empowerment of women and communication research in gender, Yasmine Laribi Communication Officer at Expertise France, Riadh Khalfallah  CEO of Digital Transformation Services, Maher Kallel Vice President of Carthage Business Angel Association, Maroua Ben Charada Manager Consultant at Deloite France and Representative of Marouen Hadhri Founder and CEO Machrou3i Fi Bledi.

The competing teams who presented their projects competed for the best project in the environmental field with the aim to save the planet of all its environmental issues that make life on earth difficult for human being and animals.

The first team is called Save the Planet, the 2nd team the Winners, the 3rd team Weather Healers, the 4th team Eco-Trip, the 5th team the Challengers and the last team is called United Saviour’s.

The highly-motivated teams worked hard toward taking the Hult Prize to the next level by organizing a world-class event. An award will be granted later on from the Hult Prize Foundation for the best organizing team globally this year.

This local event is an occasion for the competing students to present their social startup project that changes the world.

The winning team will compete in one of the fifteen regional finals around the world including London, San Fransisco, Boston and Dubai.

A final round of competition is hosted in September of each year, where the winning team is awarded a $1,000,000 prize.
