IOM project provides internships for young Tunisians in Belgium
The International Organisation for Migration (IOM) has been supporting 31 young Tunisians to develop their work skills and find jobs back home through internships in Belgium. 80 % of them have found a job since their return. A partnership agreement was signed on Thursday between the governorate of Jendouba and USAID (United States Agency for International Development). The UN migration agency has been accused of forcing Bangladeshi migrants, including children, in Tunisia to return home following weeks at sea, the Daily Star reported. Harvard Kennedy School (HKS) recently announced the creation of a new graduate student fellowship program funded by a $1 million gift from Harvard College alumnus Hazem Ben-Gacem AB 1992.
