The Tunisian authorities retrieved the bodies of 27 irregular migrants after their boat capsized off the country’s eastern coast, a health official said Thursday. Sfax Regional Health Director Hatem Cherif said 25 other migrants were rescued after their boat sank off the coast of Kerkennah Islands Wednesday. At least 20 die, five rescued as migrant boat sinks off Tunisia

In the second migrant drowning tragedy off the Tunisian coast in a week, the Tunisian coastguard has recovered the bodies of 20 migrants from Africa after the boat they were in sank off the coast, the national guard said on Wednesday.
