A Taste of India Arrives in Tunis: Four Seasons Hotel Hosts Culinary Festival

The vibrant and diverse flavours of India have taken center stage at the Four Seasons Hotel in Gammarth, as a special Indian Food Festival offers Tunisian gourmands a direct culinary journey to the subcontinent.

Running from November 13 to 16, 2025, the festival is a highlight of the ongoing “Celebration of Days of India in Tunisia.” Organized by the Indian Embassy in Tunis in partnership with the India Tourism Development Corporation (ITDC) and the hotel, the event transforms the Azur Restaurant into a hub for Indian cuisine and culture.

The festival was officially inaugurated on Thursday Dr. Devyani Uttam Khobragade, Ambassador of India to Tunisia. In her opening remarks, Ambassador Khobragade underscored the cultural significance of the event.

“Indian cuisine is not only about taste but also about harmony, color, and the celebration of life itself,” she told a gathering of distinguished guests, which included members of the diplomatic corps, media personalities, and food bloggers.

The culinary experience is being masterminded by two renowned ITDC chefs, Mr. Chandan and Mr. Arjun, who have curated an exquisite menu of authentic Indian delicacies. The festival promises more than just a meal; it aims to immerse guests in the full tapestry of Indian traditions through its ambiance, music, and the intrinsic warmth of its hospitality.

The event provides a unique opportunity for Tunisians and residents to explore India’s rich culinary landscape without leaving the city, fostering cultural connection one dish at a time.
