Ambassador of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to the Republic of Tunisia, Mohammed bin Abdullah Al-Buraithen, hosted an official reception today to mark the 96th Saudi National Day, attended by senior Tunisian officials and prominent political, diplomatic, media and cultural figures.
The Tunisian government was represented at the reception by Minister of Finance Michket Slama Khaldi. The event was also attended by Tunisia’s Grand Mufti, Hichem Ben Mahmoud, and a number of senior Tunisian officials, including Presidential Adviser Walid Hajjem, as well as ambassadors and heads of Arab and foreign diplomatic missions accredited to Tunisia.
The reception brought together prominent political, cultural and media figures, as well as business leaders, and highlighted the deep-rooted and historic ties between Saudi Arabia and Tunisia, as well as the steady development of bilateral relations across various fields.
The event also featured displays showcasing aspects of Saudi heritage and culture, creating an atmosphere that reflected the depth of the fraternal bonds between the two peoples and the mutual respect that characterizes Saudi-Tunisian relations.
