A delegation from the Tunisian women’s consortium “WETIC” has concluded a strategic prospecting mission to Belgium, aimed at bolstering female entrepreneurship in Tunisia and forging new digital partnerships with Walloon companies.
The visit, which was facilitated by Tunisia’s Ambassador to Belgium, Sahbi Khalfallah, included high-level business meetings during a dedicated Tunisian-Belgian forum and a series of B2B sessions. These engagements connected the delegation with a range of Belgian and African enterprises, with a sharp focus on opportunities in information technology, communication, and digitalization.
To gain firsthand insight into European business ecosystems, the delegation also toured leading local companies, innovation incubators, and the European Parliament. The goal was to identify successful practices and business models that could be adapted and implemented to support Tunisia’s growing digital sector.
In the wake of the mission’s success, the Tunisian Embassy in Brussels has confirmed that similar visits are already scheduled for the near future, with plans to engage with businesses in the Flemish region and Luxembourg.
