Tunisia Business Export Forum in Sfax

The Tunisia Business Export” Forum opened Thursday in Sfax with the participation of several Tunisian exporting companies.

The Forum provides the opportunity for the Tunisian exporting companies to meet with more than 50 importers and buying groups from African, European, Asian and American countries, including Algeria, Libya, Spain, Canada (participant with 10 purchasing centres), Portugal, Ukraine, India, Denmark, Côte d’Ivoire, DR Congo, Cameroon, Senegal, Nigeria, Burkina Faso and Togo.

Organised by the Sfax Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCIS) in partnership with the U.S. Agency for International Development, the Tunisian American Young Professionals Association (TAYP) and the German Cooperation Agency GIZ, the Forum aims to improve positioning index Tunisian companies in international markets and seeks to offer real opportunities for export of Tunisian products in many markets around the world, according to CCIS statement.

The first event of its kind in Tunisia, this forum aims to become, over the next few editions, a major periodical exhibition gathering Tunisian exporters and foreign importers around projects and opportunities for partnership and international exchanges.

The Tunisia Business Export Forum is based on four themes: an exhibition, B2B partnership meetings, an international conference and three workshops.

The exhibition is open to participating Tunisian companies which will display their products and services to foreign purchasing centres and importers as well as official delegations. B2B meetings are held with foreign buyers on the stands of Tunisian exporters.

The workshops will constitute practical training and an exchange with experts on access to the various African, Asian, Canadian and American markets.
