8th session of International Conference on Financing Investment and Trade in Africa

Over 100 exhibitors and more than 150 speakers from 70 countries expected to participate

President of the Tunisian-African Business Council, Anis Jaziri, confirmed that the 8th edition of the International Conference on Financing Investment and Trade in Africa (May 6-7, 2025) will be distinguished by all standards.

// More than 100 exhibitors, more than 150 speakers, 30 sessions, workshops and parallel activities

The session, which is held under the theme “Driving Africa’s Transformation,” is expected to be attended by more than 100 exhibitors and more than 100 representatives of international financial institutions, as well as more than 150 speakers during the 30 sessions, workshops and parallel activities representing 70 countries, including 12 prominent African figures, he said on Saturday at the opening of the regular plenary session of the council. More than 3,000 business meetings are expected between businessmen and participating organizations.

Jaziri pointed out that Nigeria, one of the largest and most promising African markets (222 million people), will be the guest of honor at this session, which also includes the Democratic Republic of Congo, Guinea Conakry and Gabon as part of the parallel activities to present the investment opportunities in these countries.

He stressed that the theme of this session is driving Africa’s transformation in various fields, industrial and digital, energy and logistics infrastructure, which will be at the center of the discussions among the multiple participants.

// Multidisciplinary economic mission to Senegal

Meanwhile, as part of its 2025 program aimed at bringing Tunisian economic actors closer to various African markets, the Tunisian-African Business Council is organizing a multidisciplinary economic mission to Senegal from 5 to 8 February, its first mission of the current year.

The mission program includes participation in SICAD in Diamniadou, Sencon Dakar, Synergy Expo, SENAUTO Expo, and the Senegal Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning and Refrigeration Exhibition.
